Project Name: Naval Brigade Tech Refresh on Dell Servers

Department: State and Local Government

  • Background

    The Department of Navy (DoN) is responsible for maintaining, training, and equipping the naval forces of the United States. To achieve this, the DoN relies on a wide range of technology, including servers, to support its operations. As technology advances, older equipment can become obsolete and less efficient, resulting in the need for a tech refresh.

  • Objective

    To provide the DoN with a tech refresh solution that would upgrade the existing servers to the latest Dell servers, to improve the performance and security of the naval brigade’s IT infrastructure.

  • Solution

    Our Company was contracted to provide the DoN with a tech refresh solution that would upgrade the existing servers to the latest Dell servers. We worked closely with Dell to customize a solution that met the specific requirements of the naval brigade, including high-performance processors, large amounts of memory and storage, and advanced security features.

  • Implementation

    We also provided the DoN with a comprehensive migration plan that included the installation of new servers, data migration, and testing to ensure a seamless transition. We also provided training and support to the naval brigade’s IT staff to ensure they were able to effectively manage the new servers.

  • Outcome

    The tech refresh project was completed on schedule and budget. The new Dell servers have significantly improved the performance and security of the naval brigade’s IT infrastructure. The upgrade has also helped the DoN to comply with the latest security standards, and improve the reliability of their IT systems.
